James Crocket
Minister to College & Young Adults
James Crockett is originally from Nashville, TN but has served as the Minister to College and Young Adults at Hillcrest Baptist Church since August 2015. He graduated with a Master of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2015 and with a Ph.D. in New Testament from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2023. He has been married to his wife Abby since September 2019, and they have two boys, Owen and Landon. James enjoys spending time with his family, the Georgia Bulldogs, the Tennessee Titans, the Atlanta Braves, golf, and a good cup of coffee. Most of all, he desires to equip college students and young adults to become disciples who make disciples.
